Nissa Kinjalina is a designer based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Her “Living Light” lamp looks like a transparent container where the light is poured. Beautiful.

This combines two things I love: chocolate and type! You choose a message and they will send the individual chocolate letters spelling it, in a gift box on your behalf. A yummy idea for Father’s Day (Sunday June 21st)
I would like to have a big print of this photograph by Ramiro Chavez (2006) from Mexico. The letter A is actually a part of an old advertising sign that was dismantled.
I love this packaging design for Nongfu mineral water, a chinese drinks company. The design is by Horse and the beautiful illustrations by Brett Ryder. The idea was to create a packaging inspired by the local landscape and wildlife, and Ryder was commissioned to create an image for each season.
Dutch artists and filmmakers Lernert & Sander, were commissioned by De Volkskrant newspaper to make a photograph for a special issue on food. The result is a real, non-manipulated photo of a wide variety of unprocessed food, cut into perfect little 2.5cm cubes and arranged into a grid layout. You have to look at the close-up image to be convinced and get a better idea at what these cubes are like.

This line of wine labels was created by Mary Kate McDevitt. The front label (speech bubble) is what we say out loud as small talk during dinner parties and the back label (thought bubble) is what we’re actually thinking…
